Bleach baths may help reduce colonization of Staphylococcus aureus bacteria in patients with eczema and frequent skin infections.
Instructions:
Add 1/2 cup of bleach in a full standard bathtub of lukewarm water and then soak in the bath for 5 to 10 minutes.
Afterwards, rinse with fresh water, pat dry, and immediately apply antibiotic ointment to any sores and moisturizer everywhere else.
The baths may be taken two to three times per week.
