The following vaccine components were reviewed for allergic reactions: sulfa; mercury or thimerosal; gentamicin, neomycin, polymyxin, or streptomycin; aluminum or aluminum hydroxide; 2-phenoxyethanol; bee stings or history of hives or urticaria; eggs; gelatin, beef or chicken protein, soy, casien, lactose, phenol or formaldehyde; amphotericin B and chlortetracyclines. All responses were negative except for those as recorded in the electronic record.
